Electrolab Focused on Renewable Energy Initiatives
Bioreactor
systems, such as the FerMac 320 from Electrolab are specially designed
to use to research and define optimal conditions for the production of
bioethanol from biomass at laboratory scale. Biomass wastes contain a
complex mixture of carbohydrate polymers from the plant cell walls known
as cellulose, hemi cellulose and lignin. In order to produce sugars
from the biomass, the biomass is pre-treated with acids or enzymes in
order to reduce the size of the feedstock and to open up the plant
structure. Bioethanol has a number of advantages over conventional
fossil fuels. More about the Electrolab bioreactor, click

The Annual World Congress of Bioenergy
More
and more countries devote attention to sustainable economic growth and
energy security, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and dependence
on fossil based petroleum products, bioenergy has become an alternative
energy for our future on earth. With the theme of Releasing Green
Bioenergy for Human, BIT’s 3rd Annual World Congress of Bioenergy
(WCBE-2013) will be held during 25-27 April 2013 in Nanjing, China. More about the program and registraion, click
